Overview

Tossup ("the App") is developed by Amalama Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use Tossup.

The short version: Tossup collects minimal, anonymous data. Your decisions stay on your device.

Information We Collect

Purchase Information

If you subscribe to Tossup Pro, we use RevenueCat to manage subscription entitlements. RevenueCat receives:

  • An anonymous app-specific identifier
  • Subscription status (active, expired, etc.)

We do not collect or store your payment details. All payment processing is handled by Apple through the App Store.

Anonymous Usage Analytics

Tossup uses TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand how the app is used. This helps us improve features and fix issues. TelemetryDeck collects:

  • An anonymous device identifier (not linked to your identity or Apple ID)
  • General app interactions (which tools are used, settings accessed)
  • Device metadata (OS version, device model, app version)

TelemetryDeck does not use cookies, does not track you across apps, and does not collect any personally identifiable information. All data is anonymous and aggregated. For more details, see TelemetryDeck's Privacy Policy.

Local Data

Tossup stores your preferences and custom content (wheel items, list entries, settings) locally on your device using UserDefaults and SwiftData. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

What We Do NOT Collect

  • No personal information (name, email, phone number)
  • No location data
  • No advertising identifiers
  • No cross-app tracking
  • No contacts, photos, or other device data

Tossup does not use any advertising networks or social media SDKs.

Data Storage

All your data (custom wheel items, list entries, preferences, and history) is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data.

Data Deletion

You can delete all app data at any time by:

  • Clearing content within the app (e.g., removing wheel items, resetting lists)
  • Uninstalling Tossup from your device

Children's Privacy

Tossup is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
